When your credit card application has been accepted you will be given a credit limit. There are now more banks than ever offering credit cards. Rewards cards -- offering everything from airline miles to charitable donations and free gasoline -- can be a good deal. Some credit card plans allow the issuer to change your APR when interest rates, or other indexes, change. A lot of credit card inquiries will hurt your credit score, especially if you keep applying and getting turned down for credit cards.

Issuers of student credit cards consider Universities a gold mine. Report lost cards immediately to stop any potential misuse of yur card. It is not good to take advantage of every credit card offers that comes through your post box.
